My job, as a rogue, is to get into combat, and get out as quickly as possible. I don’t charge into battle like a warrior. I pick my targets. I go after the sickly gazelles, and rarely do I pick a fight with something bigger than me. That’s just not how it works.
That’s the reason my favorite moments in PvP are the times that I can complete an objective- cap a point, return a flag- with no combat involved at all. Someone dropped the flag in Twin Peaks the other day for someone else to pick up, and I got the return. No killing, just sneaking in and stealing it from under their nose. This is why I love WSG and Twin Peaks so much- groups are usually scattered around the map, and there’s a good, solid task for me. I’m there to take back our flag.
I don’t fight honorably. That’s not my class. Rogue PvP is less skill and more a mindset- you have to know when to get into a fight just as much as you need to know when to stay out of one.
